Suria Mountain Hotel is a cozy 22 room family run lodge located in the pristine San Gerardo de Dota Valley, amidst Los Quetzales National Park, one of the best destinations for incredible birding, including the Resplendent Quetzal, local Hummingbird species and much more. Suria Lodge is located in Savegre, Costa Rica, amidst the San Gerardo de Dota Valley and the mighty and pristine Savegre River. We are home of the Quetzal`s favorite habitat, the endless cloud forests; a paradise for birding tours and an unforgettable birdwatching Experience.

Tours

Our Tours include guided birding tours, hiking adventures, horseback riding and more, or you can also simply stay in your room or terrace and watch birds in our property. An Owl tour will take you in search of some local Owl species including the Costa Rican Pygmy Owl. Other option is to explore Los Quetzales National Park, whether adventure or birding, enjoying the landscape or taking a tour to observe a good number of endemic species of plants that are found up in the paramo, above 3,000 meters. We can find the perfect tour for you while staying at our hotel.
